What is the best way to prepare?

Plan. If you know you're training the next morning, lay your clothes out the night before. Don't wait until 5:30am to look for your clothes... you don't need any excuses to skip training. Know what you're having for dinner and make sure you've shopped the weekend before and you have stocked your fridge with everything you'll need.

Weekly training schedules will be posted only 2-3 days in advance. I do this so that you do not try to circumvent the plan by moving ahead. Each day of the week is important to the overall progression and success of the plan. Therefore it's important that you check the site everyday for the next weeks plan so that you will be able to acquire any items you may need to meet your training and nutritional needs BEFORE they are needed.

If you're not a good planner, get a friend to participate in the plan with you. Knowing someone else who is training using the same training plan is a good way to keep each other in check... look out for each other, train together if possible. A training partner can make you accountable.

Stay organized. If you're running to the store every day to get a Gatorade you're wasting time. Get a week's supply ahead of time. Keep your workout clothes washed. Set your alarm clocks. Do your ironing for the entire week on your rest day... you get the idea.

Stay organized and plan for success.

If you are beginning any new exercise program such as this one, you are advised to first consult your physician. Any advice I render should not supersede the advice you would receive from a trained health care professional should you choose to consult one.
